Coach Ouren brings familiarity to the community, program, conference, and region. He has served as the Director of Coaches for the McPherson Strikers 2008-2011 and coached numerous teams within the Strikers organization. As a former player (2003 - 2007) coach Ouren was a four-year starter and team captain. He received MCAC and NCCAA Regional honors in addition to helping guide the 2004 and 2006 teams to the conference tournament and the 2005 team to the NCCAA Regional Tournament. Both were firsts for the program as a member of the NCCAA and NAIA.

Coach Ouren began his coaching career with the Tigers during the 2006-2007 season as a student-assistant. From there, he was promoted to Assistant Coach where he served from 2007-2009, Associate Head Coach for the 2009-2010 season, and in the spring of 2010 was named Head Coach. Coach Ouren becomes the 7th head coach in the program's 46 year history.

"It has always been my dream to become a College coach. As a player, I always thought it would be a unique opportunity if I were to come back and coach at my alma mater. I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of Central's mission in addition to building upon the history of the program that Coach Keith Ivers, Coach Jerry Malone, and Coach Lenny Favara have built."
