Robert Lancaster enters his second season as CCC's head women's basketball coach. Lancaster previously coached high school girls and boys basketball for 10 years in Oklahoma and Colorado. Coach Lancaster grew up in Blanchard, Oklahoma where he graduated high school in 1992. Following high school, Lancaster received his undergraduate degree in history from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. After college, Coach Lancaster went to work at Focus on the Family, a Christian ministry located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Lancaster obtained his master's in education leadership from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Along with coaching, Lancaster serves as a full-time faculty member in the social science department. As a public school teacher, Lancaster received two prestigious POLARIS awards which recognize excellence in teaching as a master teacher and coached several All-Conference players, a McDonald's All-American nominee, and two All-State players. Lancaster is excited about the direction the women's program is heading and is pleased with the development of the women's program in the last year.
