The third installment of the Featured Tiger of the Week takes us indoors to the volleyball court. #13 Desiree Padilla, a second year player out of Denver, Colorado, holds down the libero position for Coach Jeremy Manning and the Tigers, providing defensive stability and playmaking.

Last year Desiree led the team in digs for the season, finishing with 441 of them, which averaged out to 4.6 digs per set. Through 14 games so far in the 2017 season, Desiree has compiled 224 digs, at an average of 5 digs per set, a slight improvement in just her second year of collegiate volleyball. Her willingness to lay out for a ball has led her to being in the top five in digs per set within the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Desiree and the Tigers will look to pick up another win within the Sooner Athletic Conference when they travel down to Texas Wesleyan on Friday, and then making a stop at Southwestern Assemblies of God University on Saturday for the weekend road trip.
