Dr. Lenny Favara has been with the Tiger program since the program became a 4-year program in 2000. During the 2000-2006 seasons Dr. Favara served as an Assistant Coach and in 2006, he stepped in as Head Coach. During his time as Head Coach, Dr. Favara helped to develop the credibility of the program including such accomplishments as  

National recognition as the 2008-2009 Buffalo Five Star Champion of Character Team.

National recognition with the naming of Micah Johnson as the NAIA Dr. Leroy Recipient.

National and Conference recognition with the naming of 12 All Scholar Athletes.

Conference Recognition as MCAC Coach of Character.

Conference honors including four First Team All-Conference players, four Second Team
All-Conference players, and one Honorable Mention.
 
Regional Honors including seven First Team All-Region players and six Second Team
All-Region players.
 
Twice the team was recognized for superior academic performance as recipients of the
MCAC Jerry Watson award.
 
Participation in a number of service projects as a part of the Champions of Character initiative
(YMCA/United Way, Operation Christmas Child, Peace Passers, Breast Cancer Awareness,
McPherson Outreach, Home Repair, and a mission's trip to Costa Rica).

At the conclusion of the 2009 season Coach Favara stepped down as Head Coach but has remained on staff, supporting the program as an assistant coach.

Coach Ouren brings familiarity to the community, program, conference, and region. He currently serves as the Director of Coaches for the McPherson Strikers a position he has held since 2008. and currently coaches the ‘'99 boys team. Coach Ouren is a former player for the Tiger program from 2003 - 2007. As a player, Coach Ouren was a four-year starter and team captain during the 2006-2007 season. He received MCAC and NCCAA Regional honors in addition to helping guide the 2004 and 2006 teams to the conference tournament and the 2005 team to the NCCAA Regional Tournament. Both were firsts for the program as a member of the NCCAA and NAIA.

Coach Ouren began his coaching career with the Tigers during the 2006-2007 season as a student-assistant. From there, he was promoted to Assistant Coach where he served from 2007-2009, Associate Head Coach for the 2009-2010 season, and in the spring of 2010 was named Head Coach. Coach Ouren becomes the 7th head coach in the program's 46 year history.

"It has always been my dream to become a College coach. As a player, I always thought it would be a unique opportunity if I were to come back and coach at my alum. I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of Central's mission in addition to building upon the history of the program that Coach Keith Ivers, Coach Jerry Malone, and Coach Lenny Favara have built."

Coach Johnson joined the coaching staff in 2009 after a serving as a student assistant in 2009. Coach Johnson was a 4-year starter for the Tiger program (2005-2009). During his time as a player Coach Johnson helped elevate the status of Central soccer. He was a part of the 2006 team that went to the Conference Tournament and later led the team, as captain, to a 2008 NCCAA Regional Appearance. During his time on the team he played a significant role in helping the team gain national recognition as the recipient of the2009 NAIA Dr. Leroy Walker National Champion of Character Award.
