Macy Lamela joined the Tiger Golf program as an assistant in the Spring of 2010. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Applied Mathematics. As a freshman, Coach Lamela earned the 2004 SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference) Player of the Year award and was the team captain of the Lady Braves golf team for all four years. She attended and played golf at Carson High School in Carson, California. Prior to coaching at CCC, Coach Lamela served as a student coach for the junior golfers of YGAA (Young Golfers of America Association) in Los Angeles, California. She currently resides in McPherson and works at Hospira, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Auditor.
