Cliff Hawkes played golf for 2 year at Barton college, where he later played golf at McPherson College for 1 year. Hawkes has coached high school golf from 1989-1999. In 1991 his golf team won the State Championships, along with that he also carries 4 regional Wins. Many of kids that he coached went onto play college golf- Four of which went to play at Division 1 schools.
