McPherson, KS - March 26, 2010 - Jessica Massie, a 5'4" senior at Heritage Home Educator Center in Abilene, Ks, has signed a Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Central Christian College of Kansas. Massie will be a freshman at Central Christian during the 2010-11season.

Massie played for high school volleyball coach, Coach Nathanael Berg. Jessica has been active both on and off the volleyball court. In addition to varsity volleyball, she has also participated in 4-H where she has won numerous awards, and has also been an AWANA Clubs leader. While in high school she won various awards including a Christian Character Award, and Bible Impact Award. Jessica also excels in the classroom. She has graduated from high school with a 3.95 GPA.

Head Coach Mick Burrill says, "Jessica is going to fill many different roles for us, and we are thrilled to be associated with a young woman with her attitude and drive."

Jessica is the daughter of Timothy and Holly Massie of Abilene,Ks. She plans on pursuing a Biology degree while at Central.
