
McPherson, KS - May 7, 2010 - Riley Tracy, a 6'0" 180 lb. senior Outfielder from Cheyenne High School, has signed a Letter of Intent to play baseball at Central Christian College in McPherson, KS. Tracy will be a freshman at Central Christian during the 2010-11 season.
Tracy is a 4-year letter winner for high school coach, Steve Drennan. According to Coach Drennan, "Riley is a great kid with a bright future in baseball. It's been a pleasure to coach Riley, and we're proud of him here at Cheyenne." Riley has been very active in high school. In addition to playing baseball, he has played basketball, been heavily involved in music, and participated in his high school's FFA club. Riley has also excelled in the classroom. He has finished his high school career with a 3.45 GPA.
Riley will continue strengthen a Tiger baseball program that is on the rise and looking to qualify for postseason play next spring. The Tigers are counting on Riley to be big part of their postseason push next season.Tiger Baseball Coach Bob Marsh expects great things from Riley. He commented, "Riley is a player with exceptional speed, a quick bat, and a strong throwing arm! He has a wonderful, positive attitude that is contagious and will rub off on others around him! He'll be a great addition to our program!"
Riley is the son of Tony and Karla Tracy of Cheyenne, Ok. At this point he is undecided as to what major he will pursue while attending Central Christian.
