Three members of the CCC Cross Country team competed Saturday at the NAIA Mid-States Classic hosted by Southwestern College in Winfield. Eliud Ngetich was the lone representative from the Men's team and clocked a new 8k school record of 25:54. While not a personal best for Ngetich, the time was a solid effort after a hip injury shut him down last week. He placed 26th overall out of 219 runners.

On the women's side, Becca Way competed unattached and completed the 5k course in 22:20. Taylor Arnold crossed the line in a PR of 23:57 despite competing with strep throat. "I gave Taylor the option to compete or stay home. She chose to compete, and came through with a personal record. It says a lot about the progress she's made this season."

The Tigers look forward to competing in the MCAC Conference meet on Nov. 3rd.
