The CCC volleyball team couldn't get anything going on the road last night against the York College Panthers. The Tigers were defeated by the Panthers 11-25, 14-25, 15-25. It was a tough night hitting for the Tigers managing only 13 kills on 64 attempts, and 17 errors. Angela Jamison led the Tigers with 4 kills on 16 attempts. Three other Tigers, Audra Howell, Victoria McCord, and Katheryn Lott, each had three kills. Eleven of the 13 Tiger kills were assisted by Kaitlyn Metz, who has quickly proven herself a very capable setter.
The loss drops the Tigers to 1-17 on the season, and 0-8 in conference play. The ladies will have a week off to prepare for a conference road trip next weekend in Oklahoma. The Tigers will play Oklahoma Wesleyan at 6:00 pm on Friday night, and Southwestern Christian University at 1:00 on Saturday afternoon.
