McPherson, KS - June 19, 2012, Savannah Fairchild, a 5'1" senior guard from Kingman High School in Kingman, Kansas, has signed a national letter of intent to play women's basketball at Central Christian College next season. Fairchild lettered her final year for Coach Gary Chisam and the Kingman High School Eagles. Savannah is very active both on and off the basketball court. She was a part of the National Honors Society for 3 years, involved in Youth in Government 4 years, FCA 4 years, was named student of the month, and Eagle of the Year.

CCC head coach Robert Lancaster commented on the signing saying, "Savannah is a hard working young lady who will fit in well with our program due to her work ethic and her desire to grow and improve as a player and a person."

Savannah is the daughter of Jason and Tricia Fairchild of Kingman, Kansas. She graduated this spring with a 3.81 cumulative GPA. She plans on majoring in Natural Science with a Spanish minor while attending CCC next fall.
