The CCC women hosted Mid-America Nazarene University on Tuesday night and the Pioneers handed the Tigers a 1-0 defeat. The Tigers played extremely tough the entire game against a very talented Pioneer side. The game was scoreless through the first half and for about 42 minutes of the 2nd half. The Pioneers won the game in the 87th minute on a penalty kick. The Tigers had a couple of opportunities on counter attacks in both halves of play but we unable to find the back of the net.

CCC goal keeper Amanda Curtis had a fantastic game in goal. She faced a total of 23 shots and came up with 13 saves. She guessed right on the penalty kick and got a hand on the ball but was unable to stop it from going in.

Coach Reimer liked the energy and effort of his team commenting, "We played tough today. I was excited to see us in a battle. Amanda Curtis keeps getting better. She really kept us in the game with some key saves. We are going to use this and build for the future."

The Tigers are now 2-15 on the season. They will close out their season on Saturday when College of St. Mary comes to town.
