After a weekend split in Texas, theTiger men were hoping to rebound at home under the lights against the Friends University Falcons. Unfortunately the Falcons came out extremely hungry and defeated the Tigers 6-2.

The Falcons scored their first goal in the 5th minute of the game, and the Tigers looked shell shocked. 15 minutes later the Falcons added their 2nd goal of the half and took a 2-0 lead into the intermission.

In the second half the Tigers came out more physical and began putting more pressure on the Falcon defense, but the Falcons scored 2 more goals before the Tigers finally found the back of the net. Josh Nuckols sent a bullet across the middle from the right side and Ronnie Rocha was there to head the ball in. The 5th Falcon goal came on a penalty kick and then the Tigers answered again. Grant Rardon took a shot on goal that the Falcon keeper saved, but the ball glanced off the keeper's hands, and CCC's Kenneth Cann was there to hammer home the rebound. The Falcons would add a 6th goal late in the game when the decision was no longer in doubt.

Coach Ouren briefly commented, "We lost the game tonight and must look to learn from our mistakes." The loss drops the Tigers to 3-2 on the season. They are off until Friday when they travel to Oklahoma to play Hillsdale Freewill Baptist College at 4:00 pm.
