Fort Worth, TX – The Central Christian College volleyball team travelled south to Fort Worth, Texas for a conference match up with the Texas Wesleyan University Rams.

The Rams currently sit in second place in the SAC standings, and they quickly showed why? The Rams made quick work of the Tigers in the opening set, winning 25-12. The Tigers bounced back in the second set, and made the Rams work, but in the end it wasn't enough, and the Rams took the set 25-17. In the third and what would turn out to be the final set of the evening, The Rams were firing on all cylinders, and finished off the sweep with a 27-7 win.

Statistically, the Tiger offense struggled with just 15 kills and 22 errors on a total of 89 swings, while the Rams had 39 kills and only 13 errors on 93 attempts. Senior Kasi Kraus led the Tiger offense in kills with 6. She also was second on the team in digs with 7, and had one block. The Tigers' defensive leader was libero, Desiree Padilla, who notched 15 defensive digs on the night.

With the loss, the Tigers drop to 4-11 on the season overall, and 1-7 in the SAC. They will be back on the hardwood again tomorrow when they take on the SAC's top team, the SAGU Lions.
