The Central Christian College baseball team is back on the diamond this afternoon, at home against the McPherson College Bulldogs. Today will be game two of a four game series between the Tigers and Bulldogs. The Tigers took the first game a month ago 10-4.

The Tigers come into today's game at 7-17 on the season, having dropped three games on the road last weekend to Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas. Mario Rivera continues to be the Tigers' best hitter with a .354 batting average, and he also leads the team in stolen bases with 21. Hunter Wilcher is has driven in 30 runs, leading the team in that category, as well as in homeruns with 7.

The Bulldogs are sitting at 10-15 on the season and 3-3 in KCAC play. They are coming off of a three game sweep of KCAC foe Ottawa University last weekend in which they outscored the Braves, 35-17. They had a huge game in the series opener, defeating Ottawa 24-11. Including last month's win over the Bulldogs, the Tiger now lead the overall series between the two schools, 7-4.
