The Tigers finished up a four game series of road trips beginning last week with Grace University and finishing tonight with a rematch with the Bethel College Threshers. In their previous game the 2nd week of the season, the Tigers ran away from the Threshers to the tune of a 96-61 victory. Tonight things would be a little different. Instead of running awayfrom with the game, the pesky Threshers wouldn't go away and the Tigers found themselves in a battle all night.

The Tigers shot 60% from the field in the first half and found themselves up by six at the end of the half. That six point lead would hold up as the teams played to stalemate in the second half. Though they only shot 35% from the field in the 2nd half, it was enough to earn them a hard fought 73-67 victory.

CCC had three players score in double figures led by Sean Posey. Sean's 23 points led all scorers. Don Gavin got back on track notching another double double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Christopher Jones continued his monster play rounding out the double digit scorers with 18 points. The Threshers were much more balanced in their scoring. They had four guys in double figures. Two had 13 points and two had 12 points.

The win gives the Tigers 7 for the season. They are back in action this weekend for games with Grace University on Friday and Ozarks Christian on Saturday. Game time is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
