On Wednesday night the Lady Tigers hosted MCAC member Haskell University for their last home game of the season. The ladieswere coming off a three set loss to Manhattan Christian the night before and were hoping to bounce back with a solid performance. The Lady Tigers fought hard and had a solid performance all around, but it just wasn't enough to overcome the Lady Indians. CCC was defeated in four games 20-25, 15-25, 25-21, 19-25.

Offensively, the Lady Tigers took some really nice swings at the ball. As a team they recorded 36 kills led by Alayna Howell's 11. CCC served the ball very well tallying 11 aces, 4 by Danielle Golladay and 3 by Victoria McCord. Defensively, Central came up with 88 digs, led by Lauren Lauritzen's 22.

Coach Burrill liked the effort his team gave commenting, "Tonight we saw some good volleyball again. Every game was a couple of balls from being us on top on the board instead of them. The biggest difference was serve / serve receive errors at critical points. Most of the match, both areas were excellent. It's hard to duplicate those pressures and intensity in practice. You grow and learn through the course of seasons. We are growing and learning daily in volleyball and life."

CCC is now 4-25 on the season and 1-12 in the MCAC. Next up is a triangular with McPherson College and Kansas Wesleyan University on Saturday.
