Central Christian College Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach, Bob Marsh is delighted to announce that Travis Holehan of Oologah,Oklahoma has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at CCC in McPherson, Kansas.Travis is a sophomore transfer from Oklahoma Baptist University and will receive both baseball and academic scholarships while attending Central Christian. He played high school baseball for Coach Gary Edwards at Oologah High School in Oologah, OK. Travis also played summer baseball for the Tulsa Braves under Coach Don Cummings. Holehan is a solid, 6 foot, 190 lb.catcher with soft hands, strong throwing arm, a solid hitter that Marsh believes will lead his receiving corps in 2010-2011. "Travis is a hard worker, intelligent and hard nosed. He has a burning desire to improve himself! He is a natural born leader!" according to Marsh.

Central Christian College is a member of the NAIA and participates in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference. The MCAC contains past nationally ranked Bellevue University, The College of the Ozarks, York College, Peru State College and Oklahoma Wesleyan University. The Tigers of Central also participate in the National Christian College Athletic Association and Marsh hopes that Travis will be one of the pieces of the puzzle that helps CCC earn a trip to the NCCAA World series in May! Travis is the son of Joe and Stacy Holehan of Oologah, OK. He plans on pursuing a degree in Sports Management while attending Central.
