McPherson, KS - July 23, 2010 - Dillin Lanting, a senior from West Orange Stark Highschool in Orange, TX, has signed a Letter of Intent to play tennis at Central Christian College. Lanting will be a freshman at Central Christian during the 2010-11 season.

Lanting is a 3-year letter winner for high school coach, Michael Washburn. In addition to lettering for three years, Lanting was also named MVP of his highschool team three years in a row. Twice he and his doubles partner qualified for district play. In the classroom Dillin has carried a 3.8 highschool GPA.

Dillin will add more depth to what has already been an amazing year in recruiting for the men's tennis program at Central. He is the 3rd high quality tennis player to sign this spring with a fourth expected to sign in the next couple of weeks. Said Coach Nelson, "Dillin is an accomplished doubles player, but is also a solid singles player. His greatest asset for our program is his insatiable desire to improve his game. I expect him to immediately compete for a varsity spot next spring and push our current players to step up their work ethic to match his."

Dillin is the son of Fred and Mary Lanting of Orange, TX. He plans on pursuing a degree in youth ministry while attending Central.
