McPherson, KS - July 15, 2010 - Angela Jamison, a 5'8" transfer from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., has signed a Letter of Intent to play softball and volleyball at Central Christian College of Kansas. Jamison, a standout middlehitter and 3rd baseman for Neodesha High School, will be a sophomore at Central Christian during the 2010-11 season. Jamison gave up playing varsity volleyball and softball to attend MSU, but the desire to compete was still strong and has decided to apply her talents to the Lady Tigers volleyball and softball programs.

Jamison played for high school volleyball coach, Deanna Rohling, and softball for coach Matt Maltsberger. During high school career, she was a two year letter winner in volleyball and also lettered 3 years in softball.

Tiger volleyball coach Mick Burrill commented on the acquisition of Jamison saying, "Angela is a very hard worker who just wants a chance to compete. She has a great work ethic, I think she'll fit right in."

Angela is the daughter of Chris and Anita Jamison of Neodesha,Ks. She plans on pursuing a degree in Spanish Education with a minor in French.
