The CCC men's golf team wrapped up their 2012 spring season last Monday and Tuesday at the MCAC Conference Tournament held at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, KS. The tournament was hosted by Haskell University. The tournament began with 27 holes on Monday, and finished with another 27 holes on Tuesday.

As a team, the Tigers shot a 54 hole total of 914 to finish in 3rd place behind Bellevue University and Central Baptist College. Bellevue shot 879, while CBC finished just 8 shots ahead of the Tigers with a 906. Individually, the Tigers had three team members finish in the top 10. Treg Fawl was the top individual performer for the Tigers. Fawl shot three over for the tournament with a 219 total to finish in 4th place. Senior Travis Bobychuck was seven shots behind Treg to finish in 6th place. Mark Gayer, who has spent most of his spring playing varsity tennis for the Tiger tennis team, had a nice tournament. Gayer shot a two day total of 226, and finished in a tie for 7th place. Two other Tigers finished just outside of the top 20. Brady Sherman finished tied for 20th with a two day total of 244, and Randy Koski finished alone in 23rd with a 250.

Due to their performance in the tournament, Treg Fawl, Travis Bobychuck, and Mark Gayer were all voted All-Conference 1st Team.
