The men's golf team finished tied for 8th out of 11 teams in an invitational tournament hosted by Southwestern Christian University on Monday and Tuesday. The Tigers shot 297 on Monday and followed it up with a 310 on Tuesday for a two day total of 607. Oklahoma Baptist University won the tournament shooting a two day score of 563.
Individually, the Tigers were led again by sophomore Treg Fawl. Fawl shot even par for the tournament with a one under 69 on Monday and a one over par 73 on Tuesday for a total of 142 finishing tied for 6th place. Travis Bobychuck finished tied for 34th, twelve shots behind Fawl with a 154. Randy Koski was one stroke behind Travis with a 155 and tied for 36th. Brady Sherman shot 78, 82, 160 and finished in a tie for 47th. Elliot Wingert rounded out the varsity score tied for 49th with and 81, 80, 161.
The Tigers sent a second team to the tournament. Keith Slattery, Riley Tracey, Kasey Sidor, and Caleb Chase competed for the second team, and finished with a team score 760
